High Holiday Schedule of Services
High Holiday Services with Chabad of Contra Costa are designed to make everyone feel welcome and at home. The prayers, conducted with Hebrew / English prayer books, are lively, engaging and inclusive – spiced with inspiring tunes and insightful explanations throughout – allowing all to absorb the experience at their own level. Sermons and announcements likewise speak to all participants and are always topical, relevant, stimulating and enlightening.

Covid-19 Safety Guidelines
Due to current Covid-19 Safety Guidelines, traditional High Holiday services will take place in Chabad of Contra Costa's outdoor tent and shade structure, members of separate households will need to maintain distance, masks will be required, advance RSVP is necessary, the High Holiday sermon will be prerecorded and sent out prior to Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur and will not be delivered during the services and there will be no children's program during services.
If you or members of your household have displayed any symptoms associated with Covid-19, have a temperature or are in a high risk group we ask that you please pray at home.

Family Shofar Service
Chabad of Contra Costa will host a special outdoor Family Shofar Service to accommodate families with and give them the ability to participate and hear the Shofar. The service will take place outside with a limited number of households per service to allow for social distancing.
